Dean interrupted this fitful silence, "Do you really love me?"
Did he really not know how in love with him I was?
"Dean, I love you more than poets would love your eyes."
This made him smile which I giggled at. A chain reaction was set off somewhere in that interaction and soon we were laughing so hard our lungs despised that contagious smile of Dean Thomas's. We were giddy, whether from pain or laughter, I do not know, but we were smiling.

Layla was... particular.
