In a post-apocalyptic flooded world, the last remaining humans live on large Navy aircraft carriers huddled together forming a city. The richest people enslaved and oppressed the rest of the masses to maintain total control and power.

Two Lovers who share the same hatred for the government have spent their entire lives dreaming of escaping from a life of slavery and government oppression to find land where they can be free. Even though their parents and the society around them told them that they were crazy and that trying to find land was pointless. The Lovers are determined to follow their dream to try to find a way to escape the city to seek land and be free. Even if that means possibly dying in the process.

Meanwhile, as the two Lovers search for a way to escape the city, two Police Detectives investigate a series of unsolved crimes and murders all over the city that may or may not be linked to the two lovers.

The setting and the mood of the fan fiction stay true to the tv series, I only changed a few details to give a sense to my story (like the order of the Games and the partecipants or the add of new Games), but all the events that happens in the series happens here as well (so, to be clear, don't hope to see someone come back from the dead, etc).
