Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. I can now call my life one word: Unpredictable.

Prologue A long time ago, there was a girl with her short height who always spent her break time the same way quietly tucked away in her secret place under the tree, reading her notes. To her, this moment of peace belonged only to her. But she was wrong. She didn't know that someone had been watching her all along. A boy. He sat a few rows away, quiet and unnoticed just like her. Day after day, he observed her from a distance, curious and drawn to the way she seemed so content in her own world. He didn't know her name. He didn't know her story.
