On the brink of his decision to finally settle down and build a different life, tragedy strikes.  While the world suffers in his absence, Ash wanders mindlessly on a world between worlds.  A choice offered to him by Arceus himself.   A second chance, but at a price. 

The only thing you cannot buy in this world is more time. The choice was obvious, the repercussions were dire.
