Dawb's body is comfortably nestled against the smooth wooden walls, resting on a plush cushioned sedan chair. As she gradually regains consciousness, she delicately taps her head with her palm. The resounding Chinese suonas and Hmong funeral drums fill the air, creating a powerful and rhythmic melody.
A wave of uncertainty washes over Dawb, causing her to question her surroundings. "Could I possibly be deceased?" she wonders aloud.
Slowly opening one eye to survey her surroundings, Dawb realizes she is all by herself in what appears to be a luxurious Chinese wedding carriage. The carriage is adorned in a stunning mahogany red hue, embellished with intricate gold lotus patterns, and features two petite windows draped in ruby red curtains. Positioned directly in front of Dawb is the entrance, covered by an elongated, silky ruby red curtain, embroidered with a magnificent golden lotus flower.
"This must be a traditional Chinese wedding attire! It seems that I am the bride," Dawb exclaims with a sense of awe and wonder.
