↞↞↞♛↠↠↠ Everyone makes at least one mistake in their life; if you don't, you're not human. I just happen to be one of those people who make a lot of mistakes. To start with, there were the Rumours. You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. Although, I didn't know that at the time, so a few bruises and kisses down the line, I found myself faced with a big problem. I had to choose between three people, all of whom had been lying about everything for months. That wasn't an easy task for someone like me, but the biggest issue? This is a series of short stories inspired by a friend. After buying a new house his mom found a letter (random scribbling?) left behind in a back closet. The scrap of folded paper had warnings about demons that lived in the walls and forced him to sell his house. Needless to say it was an unsettling discovery. Pair that with my own personal experience of buying a house sight unseen and moving (literally) halfway across the country in the middle of a pandemic I had enough material to put together a short collection of stories. Each story opens with an item discovered in a house followed by either the origin of the item or the discovery of the item. All focus around the experience of someone moving. I write these for fun (there are more coming, just editing at the moment) and my own entertainment during the time of social distancing. I hope you find something relatable or at the very least gets you thinking. Enjoy! PS - Although I would not consider this overly graphic there are some more mature scenes and use of adult language.

I heard her giggle and tried my best to stay quiet. So she wouldn't find me... That's how it used to be. We were so innocent just eight years old. A game that was so much fun.
