Clay struggles with home life, and his social life isn't the greatest either. George on the other hand is the popular kid in school, having no issues at home and no issues with his social life. The two used to know eachother, but something happened after Clay turned four and George never saw him again. What happens when the two cross paths for the first time in thirteen years? This is a very slow burn, fluff filled fanfiction, with some questionable parts, but I just wanted to make this as detailed as I could, so I'm sorry about that. The Dream Team are planning to meet up in Florida, although Sapnap can't make it until a week after the planned date, forcing Dream and George be alone for the week. As the week passes, tension rises. George still believes that Dream only sees him as a friend, making him fearful to get too close and reveal his secret. Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. Clay didn't believe in love, he thought it was a waste of time, he usually visits a small coffee shop where he could read and study, his friend Nick would sometimes tag along with his boyfriend. one day, clay walked In the same shop, but this time, there was a new worker that caught his eye, a boy behind the counter. ~~ George needed help. His mother died and his father left him and his little sister, abandoned, George got a job so he could pay the bills and look after his sister, he's currently living with two good friends from school. He used to work as a writer, but his boss never appreciated his work, and wouldn't pay him enough. Giving up on that dream, he found out he had special skills in making coffee, will he be able to balance school and work again? will that skill save him and his sister? All while dealing with eating disorders and recovering from self harm? Will working in a coffee shop change his life? ------- this is my first PROPER dnf story.
