Remus Lupin has never wanted anything more than to blend in, wanting to go unnoticed.
Peter Pettigrew just wants to fit in, and belong to a group of people that will accept him and his quirks.
Sirius Black has always hated his family's beliefs, and wants to rebel in his own way.
James Potter is just looking to make friends and enjoy his time at Hogwarts as best he can.
So when the four meet on the Hogwarts Express before their first year, they become fast friends and the Marauders are born. The four get into mischief, weasel their way into their professor's hearts, and eat lots of chocolate.
But a war looms near, and times grow dark. Muggle-borns go into hiding, deeming it unsafe to return to Hogwarts. Half-bloods and Pureblood families that support the light side are going missing, or are being found dead every day. With a war on the horizon, can the four Marauder's continue to have each other's backs?
Or will all hell break loose once the war does?

Sirius Black. There is no denying that the boy is very charming. To add more to the charm, is the fact that Sirius came from the well known pureblood family. The noble house of Black. To cut a long story short, he's the brightest star of Hogwarts. Sirius Black and (Y/n) (Y/l/n) aren't friends, nevertheless, the two are still familiar with each other. Having been partners with a task before, not to mention one of Sirius' friend, James, is head over heels for Lily Evans, a friend of (Y/n). The two converses with each other occasionally, only not in ways they might like it to be. Though when Remus Lupin befriended (Y/n), the girl found herself caught in an unexpected bond with the rest of the boy's friends. Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her.
