In a world where a witch or a sorcerer can locate someone with a simple tracking spell, all attempts at recovering the boy have come up empty. Finding themselves at an impasse, the local police department turns to the Michaels Clan, one of the largest shapeshifter clans in the city, for help.
Snow leopard shifter Alina Michaels sees the Grabowski case as her chance to discover if there is something more to life than being the receptionist for the family business.
