I am dying. I know this because i can feel all my senses leaving me. I can see flashes, recollections, of my past. They preen at me through my lashes. But I am calm. There is a feeling of delirium thumping in my heart, spreading through my body. With the little strength that I can muster, I reach out to take hold of the nearest objects to me. It ties me to the earth, but when my eyes no longer see light, the bond that keeps me on this world will be severed, and no longer shall i be alive. The Chase Of Light
It wasn't just a normal chase when you run after someone in tag games. But it was the Chase Of Light. Transferring to a school in Korea wasn't the problem. It was the running away. If having the power of light caused this much problem, why did my father keep it and pass it onto me? Well. Because it could generate ANYTHING. Do ANYTHING. It has been passed from generation to generation. From my great great grandfather who first got this power while he was exploring. Back then, he had an enemy. I'm not like the other kids. The other kids, with their pale gold hair and pale moon faces, or dark coffee skin and hair as black as night. I don't want to waste my life, being told to believe things because some adult said so. I don't want to be shunned because I look different. I don't want this. In this place everything is perfect. The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it. Everything is about monetary gain and if you don't got the green you better have a way to survive. Help wont come when you need it. There is no home and having shame is a simple thing of the past. We all tell people to have hope. We tell them that if they work hard enough that change will eventually come and with that change they will find their happy ending. I've watched humans kill for that happy ending. I've committed murder when a tyrant thought to torture the only good thing in this world I have ever found in this fucked up place. Waking up on the edge of a cliff in an unknown world wasn't part of the plan. Neither was having absolutely no memory of how I got here.
