This is entirely made up of excerpts that I may not ever come back to again, at least not until I finish what I'm actually working on, and not allowing them to ever see the light of day pained me to think about. I'm proud enough of them to share them, at the very least. So enjoy and feel free to comment, like, share! That being said...
Hi! I'm a YA author who enjoys writing in the fantasy, romance, scifi, action, and thriller genres. My name is Meeks, Meeks Hunter, and I happen to be queer. I'd like to bring more lgbta+ representation into the writing world. My favorite author is Rick Riordan, and some of my favorite books are "Heartless," all of Rick Riordan's books, and the series of "Dorothy Must Die." Hopefully, those say a lot about my writing style as well; which is to say, fantasy with a slightly darker twist. The Way Love Changes You; Book One: Love's Firsts
Love can feel empowering. Love can be deadly. It can be the greatest thing to ever happen. It can be the biggest mistake that can't be reversed. It can feel like a dream come true. It can feel like a nightmare that you can't wake up from. Love changes people in many ways, from mild to severe, whether it's beneficial or detrimental in anybody's life, no matter if you're lesbian, gay, straight, bisexual, pansexual, or a person who just loves people without a label. How does love change you? ******* It's like your basic high school love story, except it's with adults in their early-mid 20s, and they're either still in college or have graduated from college and have jobs. It's a modern slice of life narrative novel about lesbians trying to find true love or wanting to get back into the love game. Five of these lovely characters share their own little tales of how love changes them first go, or their first time in forever! Their perspectives on love as it takes effect either get sensual, dramatic, or to the extent of a slow burn, as they also deal with life's obstacles along the way and share a part in each other's stories. There are ups and downs as their own stories go along, and it all gets more suspenseful towards the end where problems unfortunately arise. Will things get better or worse from here for these lovestruck lesbians as the story goes on? [Content/Trigger Warnings- the main warnings are scenes of sexual activity, and suicidal talk/attempt, along with mentions of said attempt. Everything else is listed inside the book! Just some scarian stuff I don't ship the real life people just the characters I have dyslexia so sorry for the spelling and punctuation and typos and all the other stuff :( I will write fluff and angst but I'm aroace so no smut as I feel uncomfortable writing it. I get bored at school so I write these, most of the ideas are loosely based on something from pintrest Definitely some angst and fluff. Alright, I'm at it again! You can read this one alone, but there are references that come from the first book. (i.e: Leo's roomate) This takes place in an AU around the same time my first book does -Includes Percabeth, Soangelo, Frazel, Caleo, and Reyna -PLOT (not much here because im not spoiling it for you guys) -Percy and Annabeth have PTSD :D -Jason and Piper have a feeling they need to let out....in whatever way possible -Leo did not expect what would happen to him and Calypso -Frank and Hazel become badass characters -Reyna joins them =Nico and Will are amazed at the amount of crap that can happen in less then 10 weeks.
