After years of grieving his aunts suicide, Shanto seemed perfect. He kept up with good grades in school, he had a bright attitude, he had friends, but he lacked family. He'd lived with his cousin Len ever since the incident, and still needs ways to cope with it. He felt empty. He had no reason for anything. But he kept on.

Stan was taught the good from the bad by his grandmother. It was through her that he saw the world. Everything was laid out after all the scrapes. All were labeled and easy to understand. That was all fine and good until his grandma left. Without her, he re-discovered the world. Stan had to make sense of it all groping, pretending and surviving. He had to do things all by his lonesome thinking that all with him were knowledgeable when in fact they were clueless as he was - only they had a head start.
