A Songs of War fanfiction based off the world created by Black Plasma Studios.
Val Mendoris, a young female Ardoni adult, lives in a world where racism is prevalent. As a police investigator, she finds that she is shunned within her department, her life becoming increasingly strained with each passing month. However, it all changes when a very close friend of hers, Ria Sendaris, goes missing, and she soon becomes entangled in a murder mystery with a trail of clues. However, Val will soon find out that there is much more going on than what meets her eye, and that perhaps the culprit she seeks out may have more in common with her than she realizes. After all, the truth is never found on the surface.
