To give the background: Technoblade is turned into a Hoglin and pretty much follows Phil while Phil is trying to figure out what happened to Techno.

So he decided to go look for him in the surrounding forest, scared that he might have gotten ambushed or, the more likely option, got distracted by something again and just forgot to come home.
