Spike has been gone for 148 days now, Buffy has become very depressed that Spike is dead. When Spike comes back to see Buffy, Buffy thinks it's the first, Spike has to prove to her that it's not the first and that it is actually him.

I believe this was my first attempt at writing long-form fiction, back in 2003. Fan fiction was a fantastic way to get my sea legs, so to speak. It's interesting to see where I was then, as a writer.
