A Prince Doesn't Joust

“A Prince, soon to become a King, does not Joust. They never have and they never will. Do you understand me Joseph? You are of noble birth and do not play silly games with a bunch of reckless men on ponies, jabbing each other with sticks.” I wrinkled my nose in disgust. I always spectated jousting with my mother but never had the opportunity to actually participate in this honorable sport. It is honorable in my eyes at least. My father, King Eleazar the Second, thinks the sport to be nonsense. My father turned to leave my heavily decorated room when I did something I would have never done if it weren’t for my passion for jousting, I back-talked the king.
