Lyra is a young filly in the great Plainsclan, one of the many Cabballashifter Clans in what used to be North America thousands of years ago. The Caballashifters have had no conflict other than that between their own race - their many scattered Clans have always fought between each other for various things. Lyra was not born to Plainsclan, but Streamsclan, which earned her a tough life amoung mistrustful gazes, but soon major events take place and life begins to finally go her way. That is, until the Lupineshifters decide to attack...
