My year 12 English assessment was to write a short story based on Stranger Things. I don't know if I am going to add chapters to make it a novel but if not here is the story.

Dusk was the best time to play on the streets, especially after school. But we have always been advised to realise there are times where shadows are pleasant, a chance to linger in hazy rays away from the heat of the summer sun, but as the twilight sky returns the Shadow Creatures, that swallow down the children. That's how Amelie went missing.
