What if Cinderella didn't want prince charming?

When Emily Odita was forced to visit her father and his new family in Lagos, she thought things couldn't get any worse until she dances with her definition of a perfect stranger at a masked ball and loses her family heirloom on the same night. Two years after, she is back to Lagos, and on her way to being the next CEO of her father's company. Determined to be the best, she plans to avoid distractions and that includes men. 

As the only son of his father, Irvin Udo is occupied with making the family business a success and he barely has the time to find love. When he meets Emily at his mother's birthday party, he figures out she's the woman he danced with two years ago. He wants her in his life and would stop at nothing, even if it means being the distraction Emily desperately runs away from.
