A while after the fall of Glabatorix Eragon has found an Island that he deems fit to raise the next generation of Dragon riders. He has 3 young apprentices 2 of which are getting into a little situation. I will let you find out the rest of it by reading the book.

In the time Eragon has been absent from Alagaësia, the riders have fallen to vices. Few have been able to raise to fulfill the roles the riders had originally been given, and a dark sect-reminiscent of the Foresworn-has risen to power. When men attack the village, her father disguises her as a young boy and makes her swear never to reveal her identity.
