"Yet another Chosen One Story. But I am not the Chosen One."
Sensiya, the Southern half of the world, remains home to those who still cherish nature as their ancestors have before them, using the magic the Earth creates to give them power. To the North, the ones living without magic at all thrive in Mahiya, where intellect and mind are most valued, and science and intelligence have evolved their society.
After discovering yet another Morrow Crystal and another prophecy being made known throughout the entire land of Sensiya, Cassia Emeryn is now treated differently as she is now known as the Chosen One, destined to either unite both the North and South or cause one land to devour the other.
Her sister, Damara, whose family adopted her as a baby is one of the only people who always had her back no matter what, and treated Cassia like she was her real family when her adoptive mother couldn't even look her in the eye without remorse. More than dedicated to proving her worth and getting away from the life she grew up in and hated, Cassia accepts her fate with no hesitation.
But Damara now has to handle being compared to her sister and being questioned about what it's like to not be chosen, what it's like to be the sidekick. However, she could care less about the prophecy. What mattered to Damara was her sister.
This is Damara's story and what it is like to be on the sidelines. Behind the scenes of the Chosen One's Journey.
