Nguyễn An Danh grew up in a small countryside city in southern Vietnam called Can Tho. He was raised by his two fathers who are quite well known in the entertainment industry. His two fathers were actors and well-known photographers who made names for themselves worldwide.

He grew up quite privileged yet well-mannered. Many of his neighbors would describe him as, "A kindhearted little boy, who'd love to be a helping hand." He had a relatively normal childhood up until the age of two.

At the age of two, he was scouted by Sooman himself while the man was on vacation. Sooman had scouted the young child for a child prodigy experiment. Little did Sooman and Danh's fathers know that the young boy would soon be trained to become one of the most talented individuals within the industry.

After Sooman and Danh's parents agreed to the contract, Sooman took Danh under his wing and trained the boy up until the age of ten. The child spent most of his childhood at SM gaining a name for himself.

He grew quite close to EXO members and SHINee during his trainee years. Danh became popular at SM as the years went by. He would spend his free time with the other trainees and some of the debuted groups.

He touched many peoples' hearts making it difficult for them not to be around him 24/7. Even though he was miles away from his fathers, they made sure to show their support for their hardworking son. He was always positive and fun-loving even if hardships were in his path.

After nearly a decade of training and working his arse off, he was offered a chance to debut with NCT. After much consideration, he agreed and grew quite close with the boys quite fast. They grew as a family as time went on with Danh. The rest of his journey is history as it's currently being unfolded.
