Mikayla Fortin is a friendly young alien known as a Zetillian who, in the midst of spending the final days of her seven-year sentence abroad the Galaxy One with her best friend Gary Goodspeed, encounters and befriends a mysterious creature named Mooncake. 

Before she knew it, she suddenly finds herself in conflict with a malevolent being known as the Lord Commander and is swept away on a journey of a lifetime to uncover the secrets of "Final Space", growing close with a certain Ventrexian along the way. 

What are Mikayla's true reasons for fighting Lord Commander? Why is she being targeted by the enemy? And what is her secret that not even Gary knows about?
