It all started as a dream. A scary, realistic dream that he hadn't expected to be real. After all, who would believe that Lucifer and Michael escaped the pit and were coming after Team Freewill?
As Dean suffers through sleepless nights, the nightmares playing one after another, Castiel does his best to keep the truth from Dean.
That everything. His nightmares, his dreams. They're all true.
And on top of everything else going wrong with the world, Sam leaves the group, Dean finds out Castiel has been lying to him, and Cas is forced to come to terms with an emotion towards the hunter he isn't quite sure of.
The next Apocalypse is happening. Team Freewill has disbanded. And all their hopes, dreams, and loyalties have been shattered.
Will the brothers save their relationship? Will Castiel come to terms with what happened that night out in the rain? Will they stop the oncoming catastrophes? Or will Lucifer and Michael finally get what the wanted all along.. Their true vessels.
