Maladaptive daydreaming: a proposed condition in which a person excessively daydreams or fantasizes, sometimes as a response to prior psychological trauma or abuse.

Aaron Ash comes from a broke home full of abuse, alcoholism and drug use. Sometimes he finds himself in daydreams that depict a better life. He, of course, can tell his dream world from reality which troubles him.

In his daydream he has a friend, his only friend. This boy goes by the name of Mark and he dreams that this 'Mark' helps him with his troubles.

What if one day this Mark character that Aaron has created in his mind comes to life, and goes to his very school?

Loud Silence (BoyxBoy) by Wth_is_happeningg
47 parts Ongoing Mature
Miles is nervous and quiet. He graduated early to escape the bullying and chaos of high school, but adulthood hasn't offered the escape he had hoped for. Isolated and adrift, he struggles with panic attacks, loneliness, and memories that refuse to stay buried. His world shifts when he meets Atticus. Confident, kind, and impossible to ignore. Miles quickly begins to crave the connection he never thought he deserved. As their relationship deepens, so does Miles's hope that maybe someone could love him enough to help him heal, but the past has a way of catching up. Because love, as beautiful as it is, doesn't always drown out the noise, and silence can be louder than anyone realizes. Set against a backdrop of late-night parties, quiet heartbreaks, and moments of painful honesty, Loud Silence is a slow-burning, coming-of-age story about identity, survival, and the terrifying hope of letting someone in. This is the first long-form story I've ever written. I would love feedback as long as it's respectful. This story has been swirling around my head for years, and I'm excited to finally fight against my own anxiety and put it out into the world. ⚠️ Trigger & Content Warning ⚠️ Loud Silence contains boy x boy romance and deals with heavy mental health themes, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse (emotional, physical, and sexual), sexual identity struggles, and death. I do everything I can to portray these themes honestly and respectfully. Reader discretion is strongly advised. Best rankings: #1 in mental health #6 in gay #12 in gaylovers #17 in boyxboyromance #30 in gaypride #26 in anxietyattacks #76 in homosexual

The Simplicity in a Need

58 parts Complete Mature

(Book 1 in the 'Need Series') Aron's past ruined him. Turned his anxiety into his worst night mare and kept his fear alive every day. People call him a sex addict. Others say he's obsessed. No one knows that's it's a physical need. If he doesn't give someone a blow job at least once a day he could die from fear. That need has labeled him a whore. He doesn't consider himself a good guy, so even he surprises himself when he saves the small 15 year old girl from being raped. He is even more surprised by the events that take place that same night when he decides to walk her home. He never expected to meet the three handsome lovers, and a part of him knew that the meeting would change his life. He just didn't know how much.
