A coalition of Cheetahs facing the loss of a good friend at the paws of a rogue Lion Pride is at breaking point. Their leader Akida is faced with a difficult decision when a Lion cub is found by one of the coalition's hunting parties. What will this leader do to keep his coalition, his mate and more importantly his newborn daughter safe from danger?
Follow the lives of Kion and Fuli as they begin in a new era far from the Pride Lands. Will it be easy for the young Lion as he learns to be a part of a coalition that all see him as the enemy, or will he need the support of his adoptive mother, his best friend and her mother as he faces the hardships of being the odd one out?
Will Fuli relish and adjust to the coalition, especially under her father's rigid rules for her as the next in line to be chieftess, or will her urge to leave and continue the journey of a lone cheetah be too tempting?
