This is a short story about a band-obsessed outcasted teen and the handsome barista of the new café. (Cliché, i know. But pfff) Gabe is around his two best and only friends almost all of the time. The people in school make fun of him because they don't think he's 'cool enough'. But Gabe ignores them as good as he can. When the three of them go to the new café down the road, the hot barista immediately catches Gabes eyes. The barista seems pretty interested but Gabe is too scared he will only make fun of him like the others. What will happen when Gabes best friend pressures him into inviting the barista to her party? __________ Lol this sounds shitty but the book actually isn't THAT bad hahaha. Check it out if you like. The Death of Foster Holt
TRIGGER WARNING: suicide, mental illness, explicit language, physical/emotional abuse After being forced out of the closet Foster can't help but feel like he pushed his parents' divorce over the edge. Even though his parents were already on the brink, his father was the one that gave it the final nudge. Leonard holt, his father, a drunk unwilling to accept his sons transition makes it his personal mission to make his son "see straight" even if it means taking extreme measures. As if it weren't hard enough navigating a move to another state, transgender teen Foster Holt finds himself in the midst of an all-boys school. Foster has the chance to start new with classmates that don't know he is trans, but everything is ruined when the captain of the cross-country team walks in on him changing. Distressed, Foster tries to convince the boy that he belongs. Together the two boys navigate their sexuality and identities. Will this newfound friendship spark something more between them?
