After Thanos was defeated and everyone he killed was brought back, Nate was forced away from her abusive mother and was forced to stay in New York under Stark's surveillance.  Nate never wanted to cause trouble but when she was with her mother, she was experimented on by Hydra, giving her powers. Now she is safe from them and now lives in the Avengers tower, living a seemingly normal life. She goes out at night as a hero,, calling herself 'Flame'.
