Moving On

Here we start:

Greer Thompson vowed to recover from the tragedy. She would never forget the boy who changed her into the beautiful and knowledgeable girl she had become, but she would recover. She would dismiss remembering the night of the accident, she would not dwell on the things that reminded her of Alex Rite, but she would reminisce. She allowed herself to cry over it every once in a while, that was part of the healing process; letting it out.

Soon she would meet someone else; he would take her mind off everything upsetting and slowly make her forget. Greer knew she could never forget the boy who altered her live so magnificently, but she had to. That would hurt of course, but Alex would have never wanted to be a burden.

Here we start not at the beginning, but soon after. About 4 months into Greer’s recovery.
