"She wanted to join her friends but she knew that if they were serious about this revolution, then there was going to be blood-shed. Gabby was a logical thinker, much like Technoblade, while Tommy and Wilbur tended to act before thinking of the consequences.
She knew that technically Wil and Tommy were in the wrong in this case, it was Dream's lands, he owned it all. So, cautiously she went to talk to Dream about it. She saw his view, but she wanted to make sure she understood both sides before making a final decision.
When she went to speak to Dream there was an odd sense of comforting vibes that Dream gave off towards Gabby, and she wasn't exactly sure why. For some reason he gave her the chance to have a discussion. He was curious as to why she thought like this instead of just immediately joining her friends, and to be honest he began to respect her for her choices, allowing an even softer spot to grow on him.
Dream didn't want some new country on his lands. Especially if it is run by a minor and a reckless adult who parked a literally drug van in the middle of their country. Dream had already tried to confront the boys about this, but he basically was disrespected. That was what Dream got, disrespect after inviting them to come to his lands. If that was how it was going to be...if they want a revolution...then they were going to get war. "

Then, she saw how the elections went through which made her feel like wanting to help the two old citizen and so she did it.
