"One, do not speeding with her in the car. Although, I wouldn't mind if you didn't speed in general. Two, don't start an argument then pin it on her. Three, don't hurt her in any way. And lastly, but definitely not least, don't lie to her." He said as we walked slowly, too slow for my liking. "Trust me, the rules will be followed." I promised him. God, if only I didn't make that stupid promise. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lewis Owens never expected to fall for his beard's--a girl he's dating to cover up his being gay--twin brother. He didn't want to hurt Elizabeth but she could never know he's gay; who knows how she'd react? He only wanted to make others believe he wasn't actually gay. But how can he not fall for Tanner West when he sees who he truly is, not the douche that everyone else sees him as. Tanner only wanted to help his twin sister, Elizabeth--Lewis' girlfriend and best friend--.would get her best friend back. He didn't want to do it the way he had to. He really was skeptical of Lewis and began talking to him to see if he could protect her and care for her properly. But Tanner's girlfriend notices that he's been distant ever since Lewis came around more. She can't help but notice his suspicious behavior. Neither Lewis or Tanner wanted to fall in love with each other. ~First book for my Lanner O'West series (Explanation will be posted separately.)~ Artwork by @downtheartsyhollow on Deviant Art

|"Sometimes the heart knows things the mind could never explain." -Ranjeet| We are teenagers. We have gone through hell and back. Listen to the stories we have to tell. Spoiler alert: we get broken in the end. But our stories come from our heart. Listen to our heartbeat. Elizabeth and Andrew were good friends up until high school. They drifted away, and rarely spoke to each other. During the last few months of high school, Elizabeth and her four friends get caught in drama. This includes crushes, breakups, makeups, bullies, and much more. Elizabeth has to keep them together and ignore her longing crush on a plain and heartbroken guy. But maybe something could distract her from all that. Maybe that distraction's name is Blake. Warning: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! This story contains many plot holes, cliche moments, and just things that don't make any sense. (And editing would be a nightmare. I can't do it myself. I've officially given up on this story.) #569 in Teen Fiction on April 9, 2016 |Added to @weareteenqueens "High School Highlights" reading list!| |Entered in the #W.SAwards for 2016 "Most Favorited Book!"| #Wattys2016 #WriteForYou #MyYouth #weareteenqueens
