Valentin Locke is an aspiring detective, who is adamant about catching the murderer in his city. An accident draws his eyes towards his classmate, Loretta Cha, and he becomes curious as to who she really is.

Another serial killer is on the loose in the city, and Loretta is desperate to find them. Whether it be a fluke or destiny, she finds herself partnering up with Valentin.

The two immediately start off on bad terms, but a series of events lead them to become closer and closer together.
