Dream shows up at the front gate of Nightmare's castle, hurt, scared and alone...waiting for someone, anyone even if they hate him, to help him. This was the only place he knew where to go, he couldn't go back to the stars Sanses base,especially after he and Ink just had a fight, and he left. He was bruised, bleeding, alone, terrified...he needed help...luckily for him there was someone there. Cross. He never talked to him well at least not officially without fighting...Cross walked to the door thinking it was someone else and was ready to scream at them until...he saw him...the guardian of hopes and dreams, Nightmare's brother, Dream hurt scared and alone...Dream mumbled something. "...sorry...heh had no where else...to...go-" he was barely able to finish the sentence before collapsing into Cross' arms. The soldier stood there dumbfounded on what to do next...

Break the cycle
The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt.
