Portal was just a young, adventure-loving village girl when she lost her older sister, Vortex, to the enchanted forest that was full of dangerous creatures. The girl then joined the village watch with other men. Being the only girl to join, she was picked on by everyone except for two guys: Jerome, her brother, and Seto, a shy boy who knew some dark magic that would come in handy. When the three venture into the well known forest that took Portal's sister, they are amazed to find many things, including a person who they thought they'd never see.
