In a pocket dimension of earth known as Enercaria, cat like beings live, separated into many breeds and governed by magical stones. These stones called runes have been lost for centuries and each holds a power and secret.
When Kate, a 17 year old earth girl, is given a rune by her Aunt who visited Enercaria before, she stumbles upon a cave. Finding a portal to the inner world, she goes through, turning herself into an Enercarian (Cat person). Finding her self among her new found friends there, she decides to help find the runes with them in order to bring back order and peace in the realm. Along the way she learns the secrets of the inner fire of the soul and the strength of friendship.
