Adam Brown and his family are invited to go to Terror Village, a village of haunts and scares. The letter claims that the owners pick one family to go every Halloween. Adam's excited to go, as is his family. Except his Grandma. The Brown family goes to Terror Village, and enjoys it... until the first Brown kid disappears. Wendy is out late one night, and she doesn't come to breakfast in the morning. She doesn't show herself the entire day. Adam's parents report their daughter missing, but the workers at Terror Village don't seem to do anything. Then Jason goes missing. Adam's parents decide to sneak out of Terror Village to go and find the police. They don't come back. Adam and Tiffany go to their Grandma, and find out that she's been here before. She tells them all she knows, and then escapes to find the police as well. (For real, she does that. The parents just wanted to leave.) Adam and Tiffany are left to find the rest of their family on their own.
