The 21-year-old Aki Lumerio was raised in a home where she felt the need to strive independently, alone.

She consistently performed above her peers academically, both from elementary to high school. Her family had high hopes for her because they believe she is intellectually capable and disciplined student who would never stumble down and could survive these stupid life trials on her own without anyone's assistance, but these hopes were soon broken. Along with the enormous self-awareness she had been thinking of building ever since, everything began to fall apart.

And as she were bound and held captive by the surge of waves-uncontrollably pushing her soul to her limits-she met him. It was never her intention, and it was never his either, but was it really not?
