"ɪ ʟɪᴠᴇ ᴀᴍᴏɴɢꜱᴛ ᴍᴏɴꜱᴛᴇʀꜱ."
A beautiful story,
A warped reality,
A twisted mind,
and a fearsome creature who isn't as it seems.
==================================
Long ago, a mythological creature lurked and lay resting in the woods. It was one of the few dieties who could bring blessings true and cause men to weep. It was considered divine in the wretched world of Idela. The balance was sustained, and the world blossomed and flourished.
That was before it was opposed by it's kin.
A war unravelled between the harbringers and dieties and eventually the corrupt overpowered and the great purge began. The lands blackened and dulled, and the dieties blessings twisted into omens and curses.
A gaping black void separated the kingdoms and all hope for restoring peace to the world was lost. However, unbeknownst to both the humans and monsters, an egg sheltered in bones was spared which would, in time, let the myth return.
Centuries later, Narine Ashryver is born. She was unfortunate enough to live within the cursed and cannibalistic village of Dahiri. It became corrupted and destroyed since the purging, and their beliefs had become warped and sacrificial. No one was considered safe anymore. The rites, pain, and cruelty would soon come to an end, as havoc is wreaked upon Dahiri. Narine believes the growing rebellion is to blame for the faculty, and seeks shelter in the woods hellbent on finding answers. Feeling feeble and weak, Narine barely escapes, but soon discovers an oddity which could save Idela.
Or destroy it.
As moons pass, the girl she once was dissipated, and she became the one thing she despised most.
A monster.
But to fight monsters you had to become one.
Narine embarks on a quest, and in doing so seeks unlikely help with a charming rogue assassin. As secrets unravel, an ancient propechy awakes, which could seal the fate of kingdoms to come.
As the line blurs between good and evil, what will Narine choose?
