Candy is back, with a small secret and un-wanted emotions. She fights the demons in her mind that she doesn't notice the ones wanting her. Two new additions to the family can either complicate things, or make things better than before. Something good is bound to come out of this, right?

The new characters are Florence and Charlie. My friend came up with them and we decided to add them. She is an amazing writer and I hope I can be good as her. cx please share this, vote and comment. That would be great c: (This is the second book of the Candy series.)

"So," he said. "Let me get this straight: You're a werewolf?" "Yes." "Who lives with a group of other werewolves?" "Yes." "And you all have normal everyday lives that you go and do along with running around as wolves?" "I mean," Reggie put his hand on the back of his head. "It's a little more complicated than that." He wished he could explain it in a way that made it easier to understand. But it wasn't like he was used to all of this. He wasn't used to having to explain what he was to a human. Now he had to do that, and explain that his best friend that was standing right in front of him was also his mate. This was going to be difficult. *** Reginald Locke has been out and about most of his life. As the next potential contester for the Alpha title of the Crescent Moon pack, he has been forced to go to party after party in order to find his mate so that he might be able to concrete his spot in the leadership position. Eric is the one with whom he's competing with, but Reggie doesn't mind that his friend found his mate before him. He'd much rather not have found his mate at least for another year or so. But fate wasn't having that. And after the death of his grandmother, his mate seemed to fall right out of his past and back into his life. It should be a good thing, If it weren't a man that was his mate. Eric Herring has been the adopted son of Charlie and Max Locke for fourteen long years. He's happy with the life he's had and loves helping anyone in the pack who needs it. The only issue with his mate is that she doesn't seem to believe that she can lead. With a new danger that they all seem to come across, and a new enemy afoot, will the next generation of the Crescent Moon Pack be able to make it with their mate's intact? Or is this the end of the pack that they once knew to be their home? BOOK 3 OF THE 'MATELESS' SERIES! COMPLETED!!

[BOOK TWO] "Anniversaries to some are like counting the years spent doing something great, years spent together, or years spent alive." I started slowly, voice dropping to a drawl as I peeked cautiously out of my bedroom blinds, scanning the road to see if there was a cloaked figure watching my every movement. "I view anniversaries as counting down the days till death finds me." *** After the events of her wonderfully packed 21st birthday, Addison was ready to retire back into her home and never again see the light of day. It wasn't a totally bad idea. After all, her family's generations-old riches was enough to tide her over until the day her past finally catches on, and until that day finally arrives, she had no intention to step out of her front door. And to think the last time she did, she ended up in the game of cat and mouse with a cynical hooded spirit that wanted her dead and her soul in a glass bottle for his own little sadistic collection. Silence had followed the whole year after the disastrous party. For nearly 365 days, Addison had no trouble with unwanted evil celestial beings lurking around her house in an attempt to take her soul away with a world-stopping kiss. However, the silence was too often, and the world had become too quiet. Reason being? Apparently, Death's new move was to kidnap her best friend Minnie Hoover in an attempt to bait her down to hell itself. Life became much quieter without one-third of her little clique. And so Addison ventured away from the safety of her home, in search of her best friend. After all, silence creeps the heart just as death does, and the world was now deadly silent. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #9 Highest Rank Teen Fiction: #77
