" Marry me Dami!" He hitched closer till his face was close to hers and she could feel his breathe brush her skin.

"Just marry me! You should be thankful I'm granting you your wish"

"Your sister's" she turned to go but he held her just in time and very close to himself.

The eyes on it's owner were the colour of blood, one could tell he was trying to fight the tears to stay in, but it seemed that was likely not to be.

"Marry me Dami" he repeated, his words barely a whisper but she could hear from the proximity.

"You must marry me!"

The book weaves around the life activity of a 27 year old lady, Damilola Adebowale whose dream has been deferred due to her past and she tries to forget there's a part of her life that exists.
