Darian has always known the same boring rigorous lifestyle as far back as he can remember: chores and odd jobs in a house isolated from the rest of the village,  with only his friend Dave to keep him company. So when in the dead of the night, amidst a raid on the village, a mysterious stranger takes him along on his journey to the mystical Jhadeau, a place heard of until now only in whispered rumours, Darian has a strange feeling that his life will never be the same again.
