An eighteen-year-old girl named Melody gets caught and lost inside a purple forest. The forest seems harmless at first- it's always twilight there, but there hasn't been any movement, no breeze, not a flutter of a bird's wing. But as the world darkens, things... appear. They seem like living shadows. It gets hard to tell friends from foes as the night goes on, but Melody meets a boy named Ryker and he says that he can help her escape. Can Melody escape this forest of horrors?
