On the night of Soleil's thirteenth birthday, she has a pretty wacky dream. Wacky meaning she meets her long-dead grandfather, William. He informs her that she comes from a long line of dreamwalkers; people who communicate with spirits and, evidently, can move through the dreams of others. Things are going pretty smooth-- until William goes missing, that is.
The spirit world is falling apart, and it's up to her to save it.
