Andromeda Feathersteel is as scarred and icy as the eternal winter that clutches her land. The brothers of the House of Flame play heated games with her that threaten to break her. She bends her will to nobody though and, as she learns to flourish in the Flaming Reach, she discovers the flame's heir, Dracon Scaldor, is hiding his own scars in the shadows he wraps around himself.
