Season two- Payton Johnson has been abducted by a British man she's never seen before. She's taken to a small town, with big secrets. One of the biggest secrets being that it's home to vampires, werewolves, witches, and doppelgängers. She's also reunited with her twin sister, Elena Gilbert, that's she's never known. But she's also going to be sacrificed in a ritual, that turns one of the oldest vampire in history, into a hybrid. But what happens when things take a turn for the worst and she realizes that she may be a more than just a doppelgänger?

Season three (book 2)- Payton comes back from a long summer of being Klaus's lap dog. She struggles with handling her new powers, and starts realizing that Klaus has real feelings for her. But she can't seem to figure out if she has feelings for him. She meets the rest of the original family, and starts to feel as if they are her family too. But what happens when the original with (their mother) asks to help end their lives...
