Gilbert, a punk is forced to accept a roommate in his dorm. The new student turns out to be Matthew, a former Canadian hockey player who is now blind. Gilbert is confused and hates the fact that he does not know how to act around Matt. He expected to get rid of him fast and live alone again but there is something stopping him. He then later realizes how much he can learn from someone like Matthew. Both have different priorities and plans for the future, both feel resentful toward each other at first, however, this changes as Gilbert wants to help Matthew. All of this forces Gilbert to change, but will it all be worth it in the end? ( I wrote something similar in the past but got stuck, now I changed the focus of it and the overall course of the story to something that I like more. So yeah, it's a story for me more than anything else)
