Flickering Intrepidity

When the love of Phoebe’s life comes back an oozing mess of a chargrilled human flesh, Phoebe is confused on what kind of quest her people actually sent her future husband on. It had only been meant to prove he could be a King to them, that he deserved her father’s blessing for their engagement, but now he was dead and no one will talk about what he had really gone after.

But what Philip had gone after only seemed to be awaken by him as it soon comes after the Kingdom of Ceradda slaughter the whole royal family. Phebe is barely able to escape with her life and she is sent fleeing out of her own kingdom in panic and despair. The kingdom of Ceradda is sent into turmoil sending the neighboring kingdoms in a frenzy of what exactly to do, more exactly of how to protect themselves rather than save Ceradda.

Once Phoebe is able to find some place safe, where no one knows who she is, she meets people that set sparks to her smoldering courage to go after this thing. Will she be able to defeat this monster that so quickly took over Ceradda? Or will she parish just like the rest of her family and loved ones?
