Annalise Parker dreams of living her life like it's one romantic fiction movie but with everything happening in her life, nothing is heading in that direction. As summer kicks off, her hopes and dreams return when she bumps into her old best friend from middle school, Miles Miller. Miles's parents got divorced when he was in eighth grade and he moved away with his dad. This was the first summer he was back in town visiting his mom. The story starts when the two decided to hang out and spend the summer together just like old times.
