Hornet is a young HiveWing/Icewing hybrid, but of course no one can know those details. Except Queen Aurora, her adopted mother. But one day when Prince Blizzards mouth "slips" and he tells the Icewings about Hornet, Hornet must leave her home. That is until she finds Reed, Blobfish and Flame, all hybrids hiding from the tribes they grew up in and their pasts. Together they will set off on a journey to find other abandoned hybrids and fight for their freedom once and for all....
