This is a collection of information from the Warriors book series by Erin Hunter about the Clans of cats that live in the wild.
I will list family relations and attempt to form a timeline. Family relations will be based on canon facts as much as possible, but some relations will be guesses or my own ideas. The timeline will have years listed, mostly for a reference. Based on a quick Google search, the clans have existed for about 65-90 years. Adding onto that theory, I believe the Tribe of Rushing Water would have existed for about 10 years before some of those cats left to go to the forest and form the clans. Before the Tribe of Rushing Water existed, it is known that there were cats living by the lake. Those bands of cats existed for at least several generations, so I'd say about 50 years at least. In summary, the bands of cats lived by the lake for about 50 years before leaving for the mountains. The Tribe of Rushing Water existed for about 10 years before some left to form the Clans. The Clans have existed for about 65-90 years. My timeline is only concerning Clan cats, so I will be using 83 years as a reference for the current year, the year of the most recent book in the series. I will also divide the years into the seasons, newleaf (nl), greenleaf (gl), leaffall (lf), and leafbare (lb). This way I can determine exactly when cats were born, became apprentices, and then became warriors.
For the cats whose parentage is unknown, undetermined, or simply questionable, I will also explain the theories and possibilities for their parents.
